Explore Fiber is a collaborative website showcasing and exploring fiber as a fine art material.
The World of Threads Festival website is a wonderful fiber resource I stumbled onto! The festival is an international showcase of contemporary fiber and textile art. They are a not-for-profit initiative with charitable status and exhibit innovative fiber and textile art from around the world and highlight the strength of the local talent. Based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, the Festivals go back to 1998, when they held their first one. You can get updates and details for the next festival in 2016 here.

One of the most exciting things about the website, is their page of fiber artist interviews! This is a comprehensive archive of the most exciting fibre artists in the world. For 133 weeks we have been interviewing a new local, national or international fiber artist. Interviews published by Dawne Rudman and Gareth Bate. Thousands of people have subscribed from 82 countries. This is a site you will want to subscribe to! We have also listed their Facebook page on our Resource page Fiber Blogs, Websites, Facebook Pages & Social Networks.

Hello,
I am Yunmin Lee, and a graphic designer. I was researching the world of thread festival 2015, and have reached your website.
The second image what you have used is not the official image for The World of Thread Festival. That is what I redesigned for one of my personal project. so, please write the copyright where it comes from or designed by Yunmin Lee (http://yunminlee.com).
If you are interested in me, you can come to my website and go through others! Thanks
Thanks, Yunmin, for bringing this to our attention. We have corrected the byline.
