“Bambole” (Dolls) is the new ebook published by Katya Sanna, italian singer, painter, embroider. It is a collection of handmade embroideries initially inspired by the Leggy Dolls, rather popular in Europe and Canada 70s, just initially because working on this project the dolls of “Bambole” have taken their well-defined identity and character away from the original idea. The trait of this kind of embroidery is the modern, contemporary, called “pop embroidery”. Here the final work is the result of a performance produced often without following the structure of projects or preparatory drawings.
