American Sewing Guild – Plano Chapter – The American Sewing Guild is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sewing as an art and life skill. Its purpose is to provide information, education, and programs for its members and the community. Membership in the guild is open to the public.
Dallas Area Fiber Artists – DAFA is a nonprofit organization with members who promote fiber art through education, workshops, and exhibits.
Dallas Hand Knitters Guild – The purpose of the Dallas Hand Knitters Guild is to provide education and communication to advance the quality of workmanship and creativity in the members’ knitting endeavors, as well as to promote the art of knitting.
Dallas Handweavers and Spinners Guild – The Dallas Handweavers and Spinners Guild is an incorporated, non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and encourage an interest in the fiber arts, and educate individuals and the broad community in activities and techniques, specifically those related to hand weaving and hand spinning.
Dallas Lace Society – – Our purpose is to continue and promote the art of lacemaking through education and demonstration. Focusing on Bobbin-made laces, many members also participate in other types of lacemaking including crocheted, knitted, tatted, and needle-made laces.
Dallas Makerspace Fiberholics – Welcome to Dallas Makerspace Fiberholics! We are a group of fiber artists that meet at Dallas Makerspace 1825 Monetary Ln, Ste104, in Carrollton, Texas. During the month, there are a variety of classes and opportunities to hang out with other fibery folks.
East Dallas Knitting – Fiber lovers welcome! We’re a group of knitters and crocheters of all levels who like to get together to drink wine (or whatever you enjoy!), chat, and make things! Bring your questions or mistakes and we can work through those as well. We meet every other week at my house in East Dallas.
